It's been quite a while since I last posted around these parts, so I figured I'd document my return. Needless to say, I took a break from the visual novel. In fact, I took a break from digital art altogether. It's a long story that I'd rather not get into. I started doing more traditional art, and I think I've improved quite a bit.  I'm going to start using digital art again, with a whole new program (Krita) and I'll return to my visual novel when I feel confident in my skills. I recently took a good, long look at this picture, and I realized something: it is absolutely hideous. I really, really think I should go back and change this to something half-way presentable, but I'm really busy, and, like I said, I don't have time to spend weeks on a single drawing, just going back and forth. I don't know what to do at this point. Should I just accept the shit I have and move on, or try and make some slightly better shit? I don't need this to look perfect, but there are so many things wrong with it at this point! The colors of the characters are too saturated, Michael's eyes (and his whole face, really) look very unnatural

With the new style I tried out in "Daisy's Train Scene", I've failed to notice some minor mistakes. I have gone back, and so far all I've done is soften the outline, so it matches with the style better, but I will be fixing Daisy's hand, which I noticed was off only after I posted the picture. IF all other picture cutscenes are done in this style, I'll have to discard many ideas I had for other scenes, as this style wouldn't quite match the tone I want. However, this project won't offer me the time to spend weeks on a single picture, so I may stick with this style, even though I don't like it as much. I'll figure it out eventually, and keep p
